Breastfeeding is a journey, and every mother-baby duo is unique.
Whether you’re navigating those first precious days, working through latch or milk supply concerns, or just needing reassurance, I’m here to support you with warmth and care.
Hey there,
I’m Blanca Garcia, founder of Milk and Mama. I offer lactation support and breastfeeding consultations in English and Spanish for families in the Netherlands.
Originally from Los Angeles, California, I’m a Registered Dietitian specializing in child nutrition and now an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Over the years, I’ve worked with toddlers and breastfeeding parents, helping families navigate feeding challenges with confidence and compassion.
Since moving to the Netherlands in 2020, and becoming a mother myself, I’ve seen how personal and emotional this journey can be. Parenting is beautiful, overwhelming, and full of unknowns, especially when it comes to feeding your baby. My goal is to guide you through those first weeks with calm, evidence-based support and a nurturing heart.
I’m here to offer more than just practical advice; I’m here to listen, to support you without judgment, and to walk alongside you with care and encouragement. Whether you’re preparing during pregnancy, facing challenges after birth, or adjusting as your baby grows, my goal is to help you feel confident, calm, and connected every step of the way.
I believe every parent deserves to feel confident, supported, and empowered in their feeding journey.
